The Nexus Energy Center in Huntsville continues to:

1. Recruit area talent, industry, academia, and civil institutions to comprise a consortium of expertise in energy conservation, creation, storage, and transmission.
2. Enlist members to contribute intellectual and technical knowledge. Nexus members include small businesses, university faculty and researchers, and government representatives.
3. Identify energy related opportunities that exist with federal, state, and local entities from which members can offer solutions.
4. Provide the Center’s members and partners with a networking services including:
   1. Web presence including promotion of energy success stories and a resource library
   2. Access to listing of energy related funding and learning opportunities
   3. Networking the competency and capabilities of consortia members to promote economic development
   4. Host quarterly meetings and regular workshops for members
