The Nexus Energy Center in Huntsville continues to:
- Recruit area talent, industry, academia, and civil institutions to comprise a consortium of expertise in energy conservation, creation, storage, and transmission.
- Enlist members to contribute intellectual and technical knowledge. Nexus members include small businesses, university faculty and researchers, and government representatives.
- Identify energy related opportunities that exist with federal, state, and local entities from which members can offer solutions.
- Provide the Center’s members and partners with a networking services including:
- Web presence including promotion of energy success stories and a resource library
- Access to listing of energy related funding and learning opportunities
- Networking the competency and capabilities of consortia members to promote economic development
- Host quarterly meetings and regular workshops for members
