Intergraph – Jay Stinson is working closely with companies like Carina to offer infrastructure management and integrated operational support solutions to utilities and other energy businesses

Carina Technologies – Carina is a worldwide leader in energy monitoring, performance analysis, and demand side management. 

Government Energy Solutions Inc. - Providing energy and IT solutions to the government client to enable meeting federal mandates on efficiency. 

Boschma Research – James Boshma created a small hydroelectric cyclo-turbine with applications in river beds for areas with reduced power capabilities

CFDRC – Located in Hudson Alpha, CFDRC is working on several energy projects such as: bio-battery using sugars for defense applications, water management for fuel cells, and algae.

Drake State – Created a training program to teach techniques of energy conservation focused on mechanical systems in buildings, they are also seeking to expand to more topics on energy

Calhoun Community College - A recent winner from the Dept of Labor, they have plans to begin curriculum on Renewable energy that will partner with local businesses and graduate a uniquely qualified workforce.

AAMU (faculty) – Dr. Ernie Cebert has been a long standing expert in biofuels and has created a mobile biofuel system from which he educates his students and the community

UAHuntsville – Dr. John Horack supports the collaboration with local businesses to conduct research on a variety of energy topics.  As VP of Research he working with all departments on increasing UAHuntsvile scope in energy.

Huntsville Angel Network – Dick Reeves has been involved in helping energy businesses for 6 years and technical entrepreneurs for over 15 years.  The HAN is eager to support energy-based start-ups that show promise for our community.

AZ Technology – Dr. Daniel Adamek is working on energy and environment applications of technologies developed originally for the aerospace industry. AZ has a 20 year history of materials and hardware development to support long duration space flight.

Plasma Waste & Recycling- the PWR process converts waste to gases that are formed into a clean fuel that drive a turbine which generates electricity.

Watring Technologies, Inc. - Dr. Dale Watring’s Company provides custom turn-key PV crystal growth furnaces and PV processing equipment to the solar industry world-wide.  They are involved in R&D projects to increase the yield and efficiency of solar cells.

Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne - develops innovative energy solutions that enable efficient, clean and sustainable methods of electric power generation and fuels production.  Leveraging 50 years of rocket engine experience, we design and develop systems using advanced technologies for a wide variety of terrestrial and space applications including Compact Gasification, Hydrogen Generation, Solar Power, In-Situ Oil Recovery Tools, and Zero Emission Power & Steam.  www.prattwhitneyrocketdyne.com
